Do you get excited?

"Life's worth living in Fort Smith, Arkansas".....
Does anyone else, besides just me, get excited about the new avenues for communication of events in Fort Smith? What about the Young Emerging Leaders group that just celebrated it's first birthday a few months ago?
I like the idea that the Fort Smith Regional Chamber of Commerce is moving in a direction to be competitive in attracting families to move to Fort Smith instead of away from Fort Smith. I've grown up in the area my whole life, and I'm thrilled about the progress that we are making as a city.

I did not know either this website or YEL existed until about a month ago. Since learning about the existance of both a whole other aspect of the region I was born and bread in opened up to me.
I am very excited to see that there are a lot of other like-minded people in the area who would like to see many of the same changes that I would. More importantly those people seem motivated to be the catalysts that make those changes come about.
It is very exciting to me to see these organizations, their members, their activity and their passion. It is at times like these that we should all get excitted and let the pollyanna within come out.
Let's keep the momentum going and tell everyone who know about these venues. I look forward to reading future posts.
